I've started to document AppForMap. The first package is geometry_class.php containing the geometry classes. This package has great reuse value and documentation is needed. The doc still lacks a lot of text.

As you may know I've merge nyc.mapuse.net and cal.mapuse.net into one site called www.TopoShare.org. I've got a partner, Brian from the states, and together we are developing the site. We have focused the site on adventure routes and not so much on fitness like running and cycling.

INSPIRE and public geodata

Geodata in Europe is not freely available, which is opposite the situation in the US. If the EU Parliament adopts the INSPIRE Directive there is a risk for holding back the economic and social potential in maps and location-based technology in Europe by many years.
